Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back

Giovanni was doing a test on this all strong pokemon called Mewtwo. But then Mewtwo escaped from the lab and started roaming across the land. Mewtwo found a piece of island that it liked and it stayed there. Mewtwo gave invitations to several trainers in the Kanto region to come to the island for a battle. Meanwhile Ash and friends were eating one of Brock's meals, during their meal Ash got challenged for a battle, he battled and won. At this point Ash and all the other trainers received the invitations and started to make their way to the dock where they would travel to Mewtwo's island. But suddenly there was a storm and they couldn't swim there now. So they decided to use their water and flying pokemon. Finally they got to the island and they went in a cave-looking thing. In there it was all dark and a sudden light came on. There was a tall white figure in the center, who has claimed to be the ultimate pokemon trainer in the inviations, but It was Mewtwo! All of the trainers brought out their pokemon and tried attacking the Mewtwo, but they all got knocked back. Mewtwo was too strong. Mewtwo created some black pokeballs out of the blue, and caught all of the trainers pokemon! He then made a flash, and apparently took their DNA. And released the pokemon again. But what the trainers didn't know was Mewtwo was creating fake clone pokemon at the back of the cave. All of a sudden the clones start walking into the main room. Shortly after Ash who had been chasing pikachu's pokeball came blasting through the back of the cave with all the real pokemon. All the trainers were shocked and it was silent for a minute. Then Mew the pokemon that mewtwo was cloned from appears, Mewtwo attacks mew and this begins the war between the originals and the clones, this fight went on for ages and the trainers were shocked , but Ash's pikachu refused to fight its clone.Ash could not take it anymore and he went right in the middle of the fight and shouted stop. But Mewtwo and Mew were already shooting powerful beams. Ash got struck, and was turned to stone. With all shock the pokemon stopped fighting and followed pikachu as it began to cry, the tears miraculously managed to revive Ash. Mewtwo then decided to stop his war and decided to move somewhere where there were no humans. He removed the memory of all the pokemon and trainers, and traveled way with mew and all the clones to never return. Ash and friends then found themselves back at the dock having no idea what happened, so all the trainers follow nurse joy who had previously been controlled by mewtwo to the pokemon center. The movie finishes as Ash catches a glimpse of mewtwo in the sky, not knowing what it was.

Pokemon 2000: The Power Of One

Pokemon 2000 takes place while Ash, Misty and Tracey are traveling the orange islands. On there travels they come across an island which is just about to start an annual ceremony/celebration, where the gand happlity join in the fun, where ash is declared the 'Chosen One' by one of the festival sisters. Meanwhile a pokemon collector called Lawrence III begins his plan to cature the 3 legendary birds moltres, articuno and zapdos. After easily capturing the first bird moltres, the consequences of upsetting the balance of power between the three birds is quickly revealed as zapdos quickly moves into moltres territory. The whole world begins to experience a weather phenomenon and all the pokemon start acting strange. After learning of the collectors plan, Ash Misty and Tracey quickly attempt to try and save the legendary birds, and fater making it onto his ship, they free the birds with difficulty. However now a new threat remains as the three birds wage was on one another, threatening to leave the world in perl. Luckily the 'Pokemon of the sea' Lugia is awakened to help stop the fighting, but Lugia alone is not powerful enough to stop the war. This is when as is told of the island myth/legend "Disturb not the harmony of Fire, Ice, or Lightning, lest these Titans wreak destruction upon the world in which they clash. Though the water's Great Guardian shall arise to quell the fighting, alone its song will fail. Thus the Earth shall turn to ash. O, Chosen One, into thine hands bring together all three. Their treasures combined, tame the beast of the sea.". As the 'Chosen One' and the believed to be the 'Ash' in the myth, Ash is given the task of retrieving orbs from each of the birds islands in order to restore peace. So Ash attempts to get the orbs, surprisingly Team Rocket decide to help him. After a thought journey and collecting all three orbs, Ash makes his way back on Lugia's back to the alter where the orbs must lay. Team rocket already strangely helping Ash, sacrifice themselves by dropping into the sea from Lugia to allow them to get away safely (They do survive though). After getting to the alter, ash quickly places the orbs in place. Lugia returns to fight the birds, but is defeated and plumits into the sea. Melody, one of the festival sisters, plays the song of the festival, which revives Lugia and calms the storm and pokemon. Lugia takes Ash and Pikachu on a last ride on its back as the 3 birds return to their islands. Ash and the gang save the day :).
